As a former middle school special education teacher, I have extensive experience tutoring and working one-on-one with students to support their academic and personal growth. I specialized in developing individualized learning plans, differentiating instruction, and using targeted interventions to help students build confidence and skills in reading, writing, and math. My approach focused on fostering a supportive, structured environment that met students' unique needs while encouraging independence and self-advocacy. Through patience, creativity, and strong relationship-building, I helped students overcome challenges and achieve their personal and academic goals. I absolutely love watching kids grow into their love of learning and master a growth mindset when approaching challenging tasks!
