An Applied Fine Art and Interior Design background led me to the renovation/restoration of 11 properties in five states, some of historic landmark designation, including in Virginia and Florida reclamation of land devastated by pine beetle kill and a record freeze. Virginia Manor Houses , Shingle-Style 19th. century Massachusetts Residences, a Florida waterfront Estate, all containing fine art, antiques, porcelains and silver required appropriate and consistent care within the multi-thousand square foot interiors. With the aid of a housekeeper(s), I was a hands-on employer, very much involved in the maintenance and upkeep of the estates which I had improved, some on city lots, some occupying hundreds of acres. I never asked an employee to do something which I was not willing to do myself if qualified. My objective would be to attend to enhancing the property's amenities and ensuring a smoothly run household with beautification the primary goal. I am a gourmet cook.
