Experience: 10 yrs
I'm an experienced medical worker. I like to help patients and seniors, whom needed helping hands. I was a personal caregiver for someone who had long term chronic diseases. I also had Alzheimer's patients. I also did a companion job with senior women. I have references with me.

Oyunbat (Baty) was hired in January of 2009 to assist my mother, who was bedridden with rheumatoid arthritis. My dad, did not need assistance when Baty was hired except to prepare his medication, clean his oxygen tank, and prepare some of his meals. During the 3 1/2 years of employment, my parents grew more dependent on her. Baty soon bathed my mom in bed on a daily basis, assisted her with the bedpan, and used a Hoyer lift to help her in and out of bed. Baty checked mom's blood pressure and oxygen level, washed and set her hair once a week, and often traveled with my mom to the doctor's office or hospital. Baty was able to alert the doctor of changes in mom's medical condition because she kept excellent medical records. Not only did Baty deal with mom's daily living needs, but she also became a dear companion to my mother. A seasoned visiting nurse who came to the house indicated Baty was one of the best caregivers she had ever met. Dad's condition drastically changed with the onset of Alzheimer's disease. Baty learned how to handle his loss of memory, change in sleep patterns, incontinence, and personality change. Besides taking care of their medical needs, Baty prepared meals, cleaned the house, and shopped for groceries and medicine. She learned how to play Mexican Train with them, a game my parents enjoyed. While assisting my parents, Baty took classes through correspondence in order to improve her medical knowledge. She kept herself healthy by exercising, reading, doing needlework and taking time off of work twice a month. Baty became a part of the extended family by participating in various holiday celebrations. When both of my parents required twenty-four hour care, we found it necessary to hire a couple to work with my parents otherwise Baty would have continued to assist them. Both of my parents are now deceased. I would highly recommend Baty as an exceptionally skilled caregiver to work with others.
