About Owen

Hi! I'm Owen. I'm 19 years old and from Andover. Currently, I'm working for City Year as a gap year opportunity before college. I am placed in a 5th-grade classroom, where I assist students not only with academics but also with social-emotional learning. I work with a diverse range of students, including those with IEPs or 504 plans, as well as students who are still learning English. After finishing this year, I look forward to continuing my work with kids through babysitting this summer! Additionally, during high school, I volunteered at Ironstone Farm, assisting with horseback riding therapy for children with disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, and muscular dystrophy.
