I'm a nonbinary individual, looking for a position to help a family with special needs. I can help in the home, including with light chores and age-appropriate activities. My ideal position would be 10-15 hrs/wk, preferably MWF. I can be flexible with scheduling, though. I've had experience in a church's daycare, facilitating playtime, snacks, and naps. I've also worked as a dental assistant, keeping the kids calm and comfortable while in the office. I've always enjoyed working with children, as it comes naturally to me. I have extensive experience and understanding with nuerodivergency. I've been managing my Type One Diabetes for 27 years and can provide that experience to anyone who needs specialized care. I take a trauma informed approach to child care. I always honor the child's humanity and encouraging development.
