About Orianna

I'd describe my personality as creative, patient, and caring. I like working with kids because I remember the impact that good role models had on me as a child. I want to provide a safe and nurturing environment for kids. I'm looking for a job that respects children's needs and boundaries, good communication between myself and caregivers. I started working with kids in high school. I volunteered at after school daycare programs and tutoring centers. I have continued to volunteer through college. I have also informally babysat my younger siblings and my friend's younger siblings my whole life. I want to go into education and spend a lot of time reading up on early child development and childcare strategies. In my spare time, I like to paint, hike, draw, read books, cook new recipes, go to museums. My skills include organizing engaging craft activities, preparing healthy snacks and meals, and homework help. I only work with children above the age of 5.
