Opal is so wonderful! She cared for our dad who had a severe stroke and dementia and also our mom in her last years of vascular dementia. Our parents needed a lot of care in their last years, and they both loved Opal’s calm demeanor and gentle touch. Opal was always so attentive and had so much knowledge of memory and hospice care. When mom would get agitated Opal was truly an expert at calming mom down. She always did a great job attending to the physical needs and made sure they engaged with activities as much as possible. She was the one who was there when they each passed and she provided so much compassion and support I felt blessed she was the one I could lean on. Anybody who has Opal as a caregiver is a truly lucky person!
