I have an educational background in childhood development and have over 10 years of childcare experience as a nanny (ages 0-12). My care philosophy focuses on developmental methods such as PLAY EDUCATION and behavior motivation-modification method. Play Education: In the last few years, I have researched play education ideas, benefits, etc. I love this method of play because the children can be involved in the process of making these activities from scratch, as well as playing with the creation. Token Economy: When learners participate in specific behaviors, and routines, they are rewarded with tokens, which can be exchanged for snacks, video game time, money if the parents wish, etc. The goal of this method is to encourage desired actions through positive reinforcement. I also offer deep cleaning, etc, as well as overtime, with a reflection in wages.
