We feel so lucky to have had Omy as our nanny! We’re sad our schedules don’t align any more, but we’re happy to recommend Omy to the next lucky family to work with her! Omy was dependable, responsible, and always there when we needed her. It was such a relief knowing we could count on her to be on time, stay consistent, and fully commit to caring for our kids. Omy was always on time/early and communicated well ahead of time if there were any scheduling changes. Omy was able to really connect with the kids. She got them. Our children always felt safe and understood with her, and she created an environment where they were comfortable expressing themselves. She was patient and had a great attitude and the kids warmed up to her. A few more things: - Omy is also a great and safe driver and has her own car. She took care of all the drop-offs and pick-ups, and trips to activities, which made our lives much easier. - Omy has excellent communication skills. She’s bilingual with great English and she’s a native Spanish speaker. - Omy is also fantastic about encouraging healthy habits. She is very healthy and energetic and active and that’s great to have around the kids. - Omy’s very organized and on top of things like schedules, lunches, etc. Maybe last thing to add is that there were a few times where due to unforeseen circumstances (work, kids’ sicknesses, etc.) we needed extra unexpected help and Omy went above and beyond to adjust her schedule (e.g. taking classes remotely, changing plans) to help us out. This was far beyond what we’d normally expect and showed Omy really cared about the kids and helping us out. I highly recommend Omy! She’s wonderful and was great to work with!
