HII everyone! My name is Funmi and I'm a 23-year-old para professional looking for summer work as childcare provider. I have over three years of experience working at the DOE with children with special needs. I have worked with children on the autism spectrum as well as neurological disorders, and can effectively use deescalation techniques to calm outbursts and soothe children. I have experience w changing pampers and pull-ups. As a first genwoman, I can cook meals from scratch. I am a creative, my mediums are writing poetry and creative directing so I have a lot of imagination which makes it enjoyable and easy for me to engage children in small play. I am also very fit, I work out 5-6 times a week, so I can easily keep up with children and even tire them out. Lastly, I really do love kids. I'm conscious of the fact that they don't know much about the world. Therefore, I'm naturally inclined to be very understanding and tolerant of their mishaps, while still enforcing good behavior.
