About Olivia

Hello! I am currently working 8am-1 p.m. Monday through Friday as a nanny for a family. I am looking to get a second caretaking position for afternoons/evenings 3-5 days a week. My grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia a few years ago. In the last two years of her life, she began declining rapidly. At this time, my father and I were living with her helping her with meals, appointments and running errands. She started to need more intimate and hands on care and was insistent that she would not go to a nursing home. I quit my job at the time and became her full time caretaker. This included preparation of all three meals and snacks, administering medication, help with all grooming, running errands and just trying to get the most out of her everyday. I did this for a little over 6 months until she reached a point with her health of needing to be admitted into a nursing home. I absolutely love helping people and being a person in their life they can rely on. Olivia
