Hi! Some background on my childcare experience. I was a teachers aid in HS and after HS I worked as a preschool teacher at a daycare for two and half years. I had my own class room with 3-4-year-olds but they would move me around sometimes to the babies all the way up to the 6-7-year-olds. I knew how to adjust to the different personalities in the room. For the more hyper ones I would be more dramatic for them and play with them but for the quieter shy ones I would be more gentle and calm and sitting at a table and draw with them. If they didn't want to clean up their toys; I would turn it into something fun to where they would start cleaning up the toys, without it feeling like a chore. If a child got hurt I would comfort them and then tell the parent when they got there what happened. I've had multiple nanny jobs from this app, from ages of just a few months up to the ages of 11 years old. If you have any questions I'd love to answer anything that's important for you to know!
