My passion for working with children with special needs started when I was in elementary school. I would spend lots of my free time in the special needs classroom helping out and meeting new people. Once I got to high school, I volunteered with the summer child & adult special needs program at Mission Viejo High School and had a great time teaching life skills like typing, reading, and exercising! In college I tutored a 7-year-old with ASD a few days a week and helped him with his after school routine like getting a healthy snack and staying on task with homework. My most recent job is as a Behavior Interventionist providing ABA services to children with ASD and other developmental disabilities. I love getting to know a child's unique experience and tailoring care to their specific needs as an individual.
