I have been working with individuals with special needs since I was in High School. I started off volunteering for a special recreation association for various programs. After my freshman year of college, I worked as an inclusion aide for kiddos with autism and other special needs. I loved it. I worked for that company for 3 summers. I ended up switching my major to Special Education. I now have worked in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), as a substitute paraprofessional in special needs classrooms, and planning on going to graduate school to become an Occupational Therapist in the near future.
