About Olivia

Hello, my name is Olivia and I am currently a first year student studying psychology at the University of San Fransisco. Some of my favorite activities are skateboarding, art, hiking, reading, dancing, going to the beach, painting my nails, and cooking. Before coming to USFCA I took a gap year and I worked as an AuPair in Europe for 5 months for a family with a 3-month-old and an 18-month-old. I have experience working with kids from 3 months old to 12 years old, so I am very comfortable around any age. I try to encourage creativity, curiosity, play, and allow the kid(s) to be independent when the situation allows it. An example of this would be teaching them how to put their shoes on by themselves, or allowing them to assist with making their meals. Along with childcare I also usually will help with small chores such as doing the dishes, meal prep, and tidying up. My goal is to keep the kids entertained and having fun and to be as helpful to the parents/guardians as I can.
