About Olivia

Hi! My name is Olivia and I am bubbly, warm, and imaginative. I like working with kids because they help me see the world in new ways, or, ways that I've forgotten we can see the world. I think children can be quite insightful given the space and support to do so. I am reliable, trustworthy, and dutiful. Outside of that, I am also someone who genuinely cares about the welfare of children. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. My first job was taking care of toddler twins and their older sister, who was 8 at the time. Since then, I've been a go-to caregiver for my friends, colleagues, and professors in graduate school with kids and pets. My skills include conflict resolution, emotional regulation skills and strategies, and clear, kind, communication. For fun, I like to play cozy video games, visit local bookstores, and, more recently, hiking clubs.
