About Olivia

My favorite part about being a tutor and a nanny is helping kids realize their full potential. Through consistent coaching and encouragement, they see what they are capable of and can apply what they have learned even when they no longer have my support. I started working with kids when I was 10 years old. This included caring for my own younger siblings, volunteering in the church nursery, and babysitting on the weekends. I continued this work until I went to college where I spent a summer nannying two boys, aged 5 and 7. When I graduated, I spent a year teaching reading intervention to grades 5-8 before spending the last year and a half as a reading, writing, and math tutor to students in grades 2-8. I am now looking for a full time job where I can combine these skills of caring for children and supporting their academic growth.
