About Olinda

My name is Olinda. I worked in Brazil for 12 years as a practical nurse with newborn babies. I came to the United States with an import/export company as the manager of the marketing department and went back to school here and got my GED, Certified Nursing Assistant, and EKG tech. I worked in a nursing home as a CNA in clearwater, and moved on to Clearwater Community Hospital in the orthopedic dept. In 1987, I opened a home health agency and worked licensed by the state of Florida until 1990. In 1991, I had a child and stayed at home for six years to raise her. I went back to work at a hospital in Miami in 1996. In 1997, we moved back to Tampa and I worked at Palm Gardens Nursing home in the rehab department, then moved to Plaza West as a CNA until 2006 and also started working at Lifepath Hospice during this time. Since 2009, I have owned my own caregiving business in which I have worked with live-in and live-out clients. I have provided caregiving services to all ages.
