Are you or someone you love getting older and in need of a bit of help and companionship? I'm here to help! I can get groceries, run you to doctors' appointments, take your vitals and make sure you are staying on top of your medicine, take you on walks or other enjoyable excursions, do light housekeeping, or just provide you with some friendly company. Anything you need to make each day a bit easier and brighter. I spent the first half of my career as a French teacher (I can teach you!) and the second half of my career at an insurance company. Now, in my third career, I have found my true passion in working with the elderly. I moved to RI when my daughter began a job as a positive psychology Professor at PC and have spent the last couple of years taking care of an incredible lady who recently passed. In all honesty, no previous job made me as fulfilled as working with my darling Joanne. References (including by phone) are available.

Olga was hired to care for my 80-year-old mother who had end-stage COPD. She quickly built positive rapport and trust with my mom and eventually became part of our family, ensuring my mom ate enough, taking her to appointments, caring for the home, and keeping mom safe so she could stay in her home as long as she did. This level of support and care was far beyond expectations, as my sister and I live on the West Coast and fully relied on Olga to support our mom. She communicated with us when needed, but also clearly let us know our mom was in good hands and well cared-for. I truly credit the quality of her care with giving my mom another 6 months of life. And when my mom declined, Olga visited her bedside regularly and ran interference with doctors and nurses before we were able to get to RI, sharing updates and progress so we could feel informed about what was happening. Even now, she's helping me clean out my mom's home. I trust her completely. Olga is a caregiver by nature, and I'm grateful she shared that gift with our family.
