About Okiya

I am very passionate about children and their families, as I love to see them grow and reach their fullest potential. I have been working with children my entire life, over the past seven years I have been blessed to work with behavior and mental health children in the homes. The impact that I have and the growth I've seen being with children of all ages has encouraged me to move of to be a babysitter. I am very patient, nurturing, and calm. It is very easy to connect with children and create a safe and stimulating environment for them to thrive. I believe in open communication with parents and regularly provide updates on their child's day, using their preferred method of communication. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a structured and disciplined environment. I am in nursing school and will be done within the next 5 months. I am dedicated of taking care of all children as if they were my own.
