About Oihana

Coming from a large family, it feels like I've been caring for children my entire life, but I started in an official capacity in middle school, volunteering at a local daycare. There, I gained experience caring for little ones ages 0-4. Towards the end of middle school and throughout high school, I continued working with kids in various dynamics. I taught arts and crafts at a summer camp for grades K-6, I gave one-on-one violin and viola lessons to middle and high schoolers, I tutored my classmates in various subjects (something I've carried into college), and throughout it all, I continued to take babysitting and petsitting opportunities amongst family and friends. Now, I'm an undergrad student at UNR, I've been working in other fields, but my jobs in childcare and education have always been the most rewarding. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your kids on a parents' night out or someone patient to guide your student through weekly homework, I could be a great fit. :)
