I am a believer in music, art, laughter, and movement being crucial for children to learn and my teaching techniques reflect that. I have been working as a preschool teacher for the last 4 years at a preschool in Northampton where I really got to integrate the universal love of dance and music into the curriculum I created. The way the children interacted and engaged with this curriculum reflected how universal the love of the arts truly is! Let us take time to celebrate, discover, ask questions, encourage and grow with one another! I am a theatrical and energetic person, so I have been told. I have training in Trauma Informed Care practices that I took part in for professional developments. I also have had empathy training as a fellow through the year long fellowship I am currently enrolled. I feel it to be true in my heart, that children continue to be my (all of us really) greatest and most influential teachers!

We have known Odyssey for two years in her role as our children's preschool teacher, we were lucky enough that both our 2 and 4 year old got to be in her classroom. She is amazing with kids, our kids are two very different personalities and both of them adore her. Our 2 year old pandemic baby really struggled with the transition to school and Odyssey's calm and loving presence paired with her magic with music and creativity made the transition not only more easeful but filled with joy, connection, honesty and tenderness. Together they co-wrote multiple songs, including one about missing your parents while at school. I am thrilled that she is continuing her work with young folks and hope to continue our connection with her!
