About Nylah

I'd describe my personality as caring, adaptable, and diligent. I like working with kids because there is often new perspective, energy, and adventure involved. Children also sharpen my innate ability to cultivate safe yet enjoyable environments. I'm looking for a job that provides me the opportunity to nurture my care provider qualities. I am recently retiring from working as a a bedside critical care nurse to pursue my doctorate degree. I started working with kids when I was 7 years old. I have two younger brothers, we are all each seven years apart. Growing up caring for my younger siblings has always been one of my joys. In my spare time, I like to volunteer, practice Pilates/yoga. One thing you should know about me is I prioritize safety and open communication above all. Working as a a travel nurse for over two years has allowed me to be very adaptable. My skills include safety management, communication advocacy, CPR trained healthcare professional.
