About Nyasia

I have over two years of professional experience working with children, complemented by a strong background in volunteer work and personal caregiving. While I've had some breaks in my work history due to college, I've consistently remained involved in child-focused roles. One of my most meaningful experiences was volunteering at Girls Inc. of Greater Waterbury, a program dedicated to empowering young girls. My responsibilities there included assisting with homework, supervising playtime, leading arts and crafts activities, and creating a safe, supportive environment for the children. In addition to my volunteer work, I have hands-on experience caring for my younger siblings-a 14-year-old sister and a 4. 5-year-old brother-which has equipped me to work effectively with children across a wide range of ages. I also have experience in government-oriented childcare, including school transportation, supervision of after-school activities, and ensuring a structured routine.
