About Nyasia

I enjoy working with kids because I love being a positive influence in their lives. I take pride in being someone they can depend on, whether it's providing guidance, support, or simply engaging in meaningful conversations. I appreciate the opportunity to connect with them, share moments of laughter, and create a supportive environment where they feel heard and valued. I began working with kids in August 2024 at Grand Street as part of an afterschool program. Additionally, I have prior leadership experience from when I was 14, serving as a Leader in Training at Center for Family Life's Life Lines Community Center in Sunset Park. These experiences have helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills while fostering a positive environment for children.
