My name is Sydnie. I am a Kansas City native. I grew up spending majority of my weekends at the softball fields. This passion provided me the opportunity to play softball in college where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Out of college I began working for a Foster Care agency in Kansas City, KS. I worked here for three years as an Adoption Specialist, Team Lead and Permanency Manager. I left this job after three years to focus on getting my Master's in Social Work through the University of Missouri. I am currently employed with Foster Adopt Connect where I am a Family Specialist with the Adopt KS Kids team. I work with children, families and agencies throughout the United States to find permanency options for children in the foster care system. I am looking for some part-time work to earn a little bit of extra money while getting my degree. I enjoy creating relationships and connections to those I am in contact with.
