Hi! I'm a naturally curious and energetic caregiver with more than a decade of experience, having worked with both autistic and neurotypical children, and more recently adding elderly and dementia care to my skill set. My main focus over the years has been guiding individuals with limited expressive language to gain functional communication skills, as well as addressing behavioral and sensory challenges. I also have somatic training as an acupressure massage practitioner, which can come in handy to assist others to practice calming strategies with a playful approach. I love arts and crafts, as well as reading and dramatic arts and truly love the puzzle of meeting each person where they are, finding out what makes them tick and helping them to shine. I know my way around a kitchen and am happy to help with light housekeeping.
