For most of the past 20 years, I was a stay-at-home mother of four who ran a full-service salon out of her home. Having been an empty-nester for the past year, I realize that I am happiest when I am helping others. While figuring out what would be my next career move, I worked and helped an older family member convalesce after severe fall. I realized that I felt better helping clients for whom "getting out" was challenging. My professional strengths are my ability to work well with different personalities, my organizational skills, my ability to learn quickly, my ability to plan events, my adaptability, and multi-tasking. When I come to the point at which I am in need of assistance, I know I would want someone with whom I feel comfortable enough to be myself: someone who is "kind," "patient," "thorough," "understanding" and "helpful." These are the most common ways those closest to me described me when I asked them for feedback so I could write this bio.
