I have three children of my own, two who are now teenagers and one a few years away from joining the teenage ranks. In regards to my professional background and experience, I have two decades of experience in healthcare and working with a wide array of special needs for individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities or neurodivergence. Of those two decades, the past seven years have been working with adolescents from age 3 to age 16. I am comfortable and understanding with any special needs your child may have, that includes aggression, self-injurious behaviors, difficulty communicating, and specialized medical needs including tracheotomies, requiring shots (i. e. insulin), or physical assistance with ADL's. I'm comfortable with all aspects of not only ensuring your children's safety and care, but also providing fun and engagement.
