I provide emotional & physical support and development of life skills, all leading to increased independence and participation in community life for persons with developmental disabilities and other related disorders. Responsible for the care and support to individuals served promoting their health and safety and optimal well-being through the delivery of quality services. Build and maintain rapport with clients and family members to facilitate trusting caregiver relationship. Will transport clients to and from medical appointments with safety and efficiency. Support/Assist with daily hygiene, bathing, grooming and Blood Sugar Testing if needed.
