I work as a special education paraprofessional at a middle school. As a 1 to 1 and at times as a classroom paraprofessional. Assisting the students with daily tasks, by using verbal prompts, gestural prompts to help redirect them and keep them on tasks, whilst also encouraging independence & following their IEP. I also have experience working with & caring for adults with developmental & physical disabilities. Assisting them with their daily tasks of everyday living. I also assist with vital signs & administering medication.
