About Nubia

I have 25yrs experience of working with children and families on a professional capacity and am a mother of 5 (teens & young adult). I'm also an experienced, certified birth & postpartum doula, parent educator, Integrative Health Coach & breastfeeding counselor. I'm also a former owner and caregiver of a small day care. In 2001, I founded a small, private holistic childcare organization serving families with children ages 2mos-4yrs old and successfully operated this for 6yrs while raising my young children. When I'm not supporting families and children I enjoy staying active, watching documentaries, traveling , relaxing on the beach, and spending time with my family. I have a passion for health and wellness and incorporate that into my support for families. I believe that children learn and thrive best through play and exploration in positive and supportive environments. I respect all cultures, religions and family structures. Let's meet!
