About Nour

I've been a tutor for two years and have taught elementary and high school students. My strongest teaching subjects are English, math and science. I've taught English grammar, sentence structure, SAT tutoring, high school writing, and incorporate a lot of homework and skills suited to each individual student I work with. I also teach elementary and grade 9-12 algebra, algebra 2, precalculus, biology, anatomy and chemistry. I focus on the child's needs and weaknesses and work up from there. I have worked as an in-home tutor for a high school student for 6 months for SAT prep and a elementary school tutor for 1. 5 years in all subjects. I try to tutor to make subjects easy to encourage learning. I can work virtually or in-person. I am in the medical field and I have a child myself and I take pride in my work as a tutor and a mom, equally. I like to make learning fun as much as it is important and I believe strongly in routines and homework! My references are available upon request.
