I've been in private home health for five years and worked in memory care/ independent/ assisted living facilities. I've tackled just about everything from unexpected accidents resulting in a shower and complete sanitation to errand runs, appointment companionship/ being the driver, minor food preparation, medication filling, dog walking, etc. I've helped patients who didn't want to get out of bed to want to live a little and go outside! Loved ones can tell me the same story and I'II be amazed every time! Patience and time as well as a big heart can make all the difference. Ive used different typed of lifts for heavy set individuals. I'm very familiar with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, and any type of memory loss.
