About Nora

I am a student at the University of Northern Iowa majoring in Elementary and Middle level education. I have a passion for working with children and have nannied for many different families over the past 5+ years! I love engaging in creative activities and making sure the children are having the most fun they can. I have lots of experience with helping children with their homework, and think learning should be a fun thing for children! I love working with kids because it allows me to have a direct positive impact on their life. In my spare time, I like to go outdoors with friends and families, either hiking or camping. I also enjoy reading many different types of books and have recently been crocheting lots! One thing you should know about me is I am very passionate about child care and have focused on it through my teenage years! My skills include building genuine relationships, making sure the child has fun and feels comfortable, encouraging authentic learning when possible!
