I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient, kind Not only is caring for seniors rewarding in the sense of making a positive impact through providing companionship and security to the individuals who shaped todays world but it also gives me the opportunity to learn from the life experiences they have to share. I started caring for seniors when I began working at the Friendship Village retirement community. I remained there for 6 years as a food service worker and built close relationships with the residents. I work as a Dental Assistant through the week and spend my free time reading, drawing, attending church and volunteering activities and spending time with family and friends. My skills include effective communication, attention to detail, empathy, compassion, patience and understanding.
