About Noah

Qualifications: I've worked with kids in paid and volunteer capacities for over 20 years including 15 years as a substitute teacher and 10 years as a child advocate in the foster care system. As a foster parent, I've been thoroughly screened including: drug tested, fingerprint screened through the GBI, and a national background check. I've attended trainings or classes through: Harvard, Georgia DFCS, Prevent Child Abuse GA, Child First, and Georgia State University. About Me: I am doing this as a side-hussle to fund my next adoption, but I chose this because I'm good at it and I enjoy it. It's given me great joy to see some of the kids I've influenced over the years go from rowdy kindergarteners to parents themselves. My philosophy is to have fun, but also look for teachable moments, helping them build character and integrity which will serve them for the rest of their lives. One other thing, I have an ADHD child so I'm knowledgeable of their unique needs.
