I have had the most amazing one year caring for older people. Handling dementia residents has been one of the most amazing experiences. It thought me kindness, patience and love especially when I look into the eyes of these people. I also had experience in the rehabilitation unit. Caring for residents with broken hips, falls, burns, etc. The pain they experience made me realize how hard it is to live with a broken bone or a big sore. Therefore, I make sure I do everything possible during my shift not to allow any of them fall. It has showed me the strength I have, carefulness and my ability to multitask.
