About Nissa

My name is Nissa and I have over 6 years of childcare experience. I began my childcare journey as a part time nanny for a 3-year-old boy. I was with this family for 6 months before transitioning to a full-time Infant Teacher Aide. I spent 2 years in this role where I gained so much knowledge on caring for babies and taking the time to get to know them individually. Next, I was a nanny for a family and cared for two boys- a 1 and 3-year-old. In the 18 months I was with this family I did light housekeeping, made trips to the park and prepared meals. I've been Lead Infant Teacher for Phoenix Children's Academy for 2 years. I do believe that taking the time to get to know each individual child makes all of the difference when caring for them. I take the safety and well-being of the children in my care very seriously. My goal is to keep the parents at ease while entrusting me with their children while also providing quality care for their little ones. I am CPR & first-aid certified.

Nissa, baby sat my son K. on 09/20/24. First of all, she took the initiative to come by my house on a Sunday to introduce herself to my son and I. She was very sweet and kind. My son is not used to being around other people but he was so comfortable with her. She made sure he was fed on time changed and cleaned by the time I came home. I was running a bit late, but Nissa, was so understanding and stayed longer than she was supposed to without hesitation. Thank you Nissa!
