About Nina

Hi my name is Nina! I am a sophomore at American University majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. Studying behavior principles and behavioral neuroscience is what motivated me to serve as a role model in shaping children's behavior in a productive and sophisticated way through kindness and thoughtful action; I am more introverted and one of my favorite challenges is turning knowledge to wisdom. I can provide tutoring for all math and English levels, and I have a 3. 6 GPA. I grew up in a traditional Korean family where my dad was head of household so my default is all things domestic work including laundry, cleaning, cooking, and caring for others. I've learned that communicating my feelings in a positive and insightful way is what helps create a sense of trust, safety, and confidence in others.
