Nina is a student in my mentorship and leadership development program at American University. I serve in a mentorship capacity as well as an Instructor for a course that she has taken on exploring your passions and interests (your “why”), developing an intentional and thoughtful approach to career exploration and the honing the mindset necessary to overcome setbacks and see them as opportunities. Nina opted into the experience and has made a significant commitment inside and outside of the classroom to not only excel but show up for peers.
