About Nikki

I am a certified elementary special education teacher and have been in the field for 10 years now. I have my graduate degree in moderate to severe disabilities with a specialization in autism spectrum disorder. I often strive to make a positive impact on children's lives led me to this fulfilling profession. I believe in fostering children's growth and development through creative and imaginative play, while also ensuring their safety and well-being. I am well versed in many de-escalation strategies and calming techniques in regards to social emotional learning. I am patient, calm, friendly and have a passion for connecting with children and making them feel comfortable and happy. I always communicate openly and honestly with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games and educational games that promote learning. I'm also comfortable caring for children from infants to preteens.
