I have a long history in the Home Health Care Field. I have worked with the elderly and elderly with special needs I. E. (early stage dementia.) I worked for Tarrant County MHMR as a group home supervisor for six mentally challenged young adults one of whom had Downs Syndrome, My goal with whom ever I work for is to establish a loving trusting relationship while doing my job. My job as a PCA consisted of helping the elderly maintain a dignified life which included assisting with hygienic needs, meal preparation, light housekeeping, driving to appointments, as well as personal errands. My job as group home supervisor included all of the above plus daily documentation of all activities as well as transportation to work for adult clients and administration of medication.
