Hi future nanny family, I hope you are doing amazing! My name is Nikita, I'm 24 and originally from Germany. I am currently going to school to study Psychology at SJSU. Prior to my studies I was an Au Pair for 3. 5 years and have been a nanny for the past 2 years. I am fully vaccinated and CPR certified for all ages. I have 8 years of experience and been full time nannying the past 5. 5 years ages 0-12. Most recently I cared for 2 families who included an 8 mont old and 3-year-old, as well as a 3 and 7-year-old. As an Au Pair, I worked with mostly 3 kids per family ages 2-9. Back in Germany, I tutored English, math, and German and was a Girl Scout leader ages 5-12. I love taking kids outdoors, reading, and doing crafts. Watching the kids grow and helping parents makes this work so fulfilling, which is why I love being a nanny. I've had Nikita helping our family for a couple of months now - she mainly cares for my 3 month old daughter and occasionally looks after my 4 year old son as well. She has a ton of experience as an au pair previously for several families in the Bay Area prior to her nanny experience. She just adores my daughter and takes special care of her. Being that my daughter is in the newborn phase, it's important she keeps to the daytime nap/wake routine which Nikita has been so helpful in maintaining. She is always on time, she responds to calls and text messages immediately, has clear communication skills, and is eager to help not only with child duties, but literally anything else I might need support with i.e. laundry, dishes, tidying. She's a pleasure to be around and respects house rules, parenting styles, and space. I would highly recommend her and am happy to be a reference!
