I am looking for a full or part-time nanny position after a long hiatus. I stopped nannying to work at NPR, but have really missed the flexibility and meaningful impact of caregiving. I previously nannied for a really precocious and energetic toddler. C. and I spent a lot of time reading books/making trips to the library, running around the playground, cooking/baking, making art, being silly, singing and making music, and gardening. Before working with C. I'd taken on babysitting gigs for a variety of ages, and worked as a program counselor at a youth center in Vermont. There I created and carried out an after school curriculum for grades 4-8 that consisted of arts and crafts, science projects, promoting healthy eating habits, facilitating activities and games, and more. Outside of caregiving I love seeing movies at the Film Center, DIY projects, RPGs, meditation & yoga, and my pup Clancy. I'm also pursuing a masters in Biomedicine & Digital Media (I know a weird mix lol)

Nikita worked with our family for almost a full year. She is kind, trustworthy, flexible, honest and attentive. Our son is an active toddler who very much enjoys his time with Nikita - they often play outside, build train tracks, create art projects, sing songs, and more. She takes him to school, folds his laundry and prepares his meals. She has encouraged him to say please and thank you, to be honest, to share with his friends and to clean up his toys! Our son is such a wonderful and kind boy - Nikita has helped him thrive and has been a wonderful support to our family.
