I began working with special needs children and adults at age 14, with numerous therapeutic horseback riding programs. I started as a teacher aide for over two years at a private special education school. I was responsible for implementing intensive, highly structured educational and behavioral programs for students with mild to severe disabilities. I've worked as a para educator with Windsor Unified school district and as well NCC. In 2014/15, I was a full inclusion teaching assistant for a child with cerebral palsy in kindergarten. I worked as a teacher aide in special ed. preschool as well. Apart from teaching, I've worked in home health care with dementia, diabetic and multiple sclerosis patients. I've always had a passion for educating myself and understanding numerous disabilities and diseases. I find it extremely rewarding to help others in need and hope to make a difference in someone's life.
