About Niki

I started babysitting when I was 13 caring for two sisters. One 4 years old and the other was 7 months old and has down syndrome. I watched them for 4 years. I also watched two other children off and on through that time. I was a stay at home mom. I wanted to make sure he got the best care. I will also give your child the same care as he received. I feel like the children I care for are an extension of our family, not just a job. The most recent care I have provided was watching our nephew from 8 weeks until preschool, and now I am watching a two and a half year old whom I have watched since she was 8 weeks old. I also worked at Developmental & Disability Services of Lebanon when they had a day care for 3-5-year-olds with and without disabilities. I enjoyed it very much and learned a lot working there. I use sign language with the infants I watch to help them express their needs before they are verbal. I know the importance of fine motor skills, and practice them through play.
