I have been a nanny for 15 plus years and have great experience with infants, toddlers and young kids. I've helped potty train and introduce solids. I have worked closely with speech and ABA therapists. I absolutely love what I do, which is to help them develop into wonderful, respectful, independable and active children. I'm CPR certified fully vaccinated. I like to think of myself as positive, active, patient, caring, punctual, loving, organized, creative and attentive person. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently. I'm available M, T, W, Th 8-6 p.m. I have great references.

Our family has two children - a 7 year old girl and a 2 year old boy When we were pregnant with our son we met Nicolly for an interview. Our daughter was immediately infatuated with her. The first word that always comes to mind to describe Nicolly for a lot of us, including our friends and family is the word “Lovely.” This word has come up time and time again for all of our people who have met her. Her calm presence was exactly what our family needed especially having 2 kids - and the primary kid she would be caring for would be a boy. We immediately felt that this was a good fit after an hour of talking about our family’s style and how we prefer to handle kids with emotions. My husband and I were also in a turbulent year with our careers and we needed calm. I’ll never forget the moment we hired her and how happy I am to look back and say - thank goodness we did what we did. When we gave Nicolly her offer, we had learned that she was used to being paid in a certain way. Unfortunately it was in a form that we were unable to do. We spent a few days going back and forth to figure out how to get do this in a way that we could all be comfortable with. Any other candidate we would have said “well this won’t work… ok next candidate!” We saw something special in Nicolly and how much of a good fit she was going to be for us. After a couple of days of collaboration between her, myself, and my husband, we were thankfully able to reach an agreement that everyone was happy with. Everyone wins! The thing that continued to shock us during the last 2 years brings me to the next word that I will used to describe Nicolly… LOYAL. There were some instances where Nicolly came to us about things instead of turning the other cheek. Because of her loyalty we made some valuable changes in things that were happening around us. This is someone who has been a protector of our family for 2 years. And our children still have no idea yet that her time with us is coming to an end. Mostly because I know that Nicolly will still be a part of our lives after her full time position with us is complete. Most of all, she came to our home with an expectation that we would be nose deep in the word grind but then things happened where my husband was able to retire a year early and I eventually followed so we can focus on different things. This also meant that we would be around the house more which would normally turn off a lot of nannies. Between the 3 of us we learned how to be comfortable with this change and we do things more together and it just worked out wonderfully. As for her duties - I didn’t think I needed to get into these details. I always tell people, there are nannies and there are babysitters. Nicolly is a nanny of elite caliber. I am again happy to discuss those in details over a reference call if really needed. What was important for me to do with this letter is to express the type of person Nicolly is. I have seen and heard stories of nannies being taken for granted, and not valued as much as they should be. Nicolly is the type of person that will put her heart into your family. She will be loyal to you and she will respect your family. When I would go with her and my son to the library, there was a clear difference between some of the nannies I saw there versus the nanny that we have been so blessed to have. I ask that if she is the right fit for you family and you consider to hire her, please take good care of her. She is a true treasure to be treated like gold.
