I work in the skilled nursing wing, which includes residents whom need more extensive care and assistance with ADL's My responsibilities consisted of: Turning and repositioning residents Providing assistance in personal hygiene and grooming, like bushing hair and teeth, shaving. Performing showers, bed baths, etc. Feeding residents and documenting input and output Transferring excessive assistance residents with Hoyer lift and Sit to Stand Transferring limited assistance residents Checking and documenting vital signs such as BP and Heart rate Helping with toileting needs Tidying up rooms and cleaning linens Transporting residents to activities. I am a very outgoing upbeat individual whom enjoys helping others on my Journey into my medical career. As I provide the upmost care for my residents alway making sure the are as comfortable and well taken care of as can be. I have always been a joy to my residents by alway maintaining a positive attitude and being understanding.
