I adopted my darling pit bull Honey from the Newark Humane society back in 2015. She's the love of my life and brings great joy to me everyday. I'll admit she was a bit of a handful coming from a shelter that might have been rough for her. At one point she ate every single pair of shoes I owned and I couldn't go anywhere! But that was the first year, with a little love, kindness and patience she had become a great companion.
