I have worked as a PCA for over a year at an assisted living facility focused around clients with Dementia/Alzheimer. Some of the daily cares I assist with include bathing, eating assist/meal prep, dressing, hygiene maintenance, transfer assist, medication administration, activities, general ADLs, incontinence/toileting assistance, and more. I love what I do, especially being able to work with some of the most wonderful residents, however I am interested in doing more one on one care as I see that as more beneficial.
